But the girls are way too uncooperative! Been whining throughout the whole journey from Sengkang to Dhoby Ghaut! Even when we reached, they didn't want to sit in their stroller. :( Then we walked pass BabySpa, something struck me and I decided to throw them into the water! HAHAHA.
They were so afraid of the water!!!!!
At first, we need to let them start off by sitting the the edge and kick water first. When its time for them to sit on the float, both of them started crying and I wasn't expecting this! As this was not their first time swimming, previous times were at the swimming pool and they love it so much!
The staff then told me that for babies, swimming with parents and swimming alone is different. They might feel insecure as I didn't go into the pool with them. That is why they struggled so hard. Aww~
So we tried to calm them down with their pacifiers and let them have some milk too..
But after few minutes of warming up, they didn't even bother if I was still there with them. Haha!
See how happy they were :
Happily playing with water and the toys! I'm sure they enjoyed to the fullest! :) But after the session, the headache part comes in. As it was an impromtu decision, I didn't any towels for them! Luckily I have 4 handkerchiefs in my bag, hahaha. So no choice, I had to dry them using handkerchiefs and also their jacket!
Mummies, what to prepare for babyspa?
Let them have sufficient sleep and feed at least 30 minutes before the session.
Bring your own towel, extra milk/water and diapers. Because you wouldn't want to spend extra money for just a towel!
One disposable swim diaper and neck float will be provided.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, handkerchiefs! Small little napkins won't take much space, you will never know how important they can be! Haha.
Finally, after the session, they quiet down a little and slowly fell asleep! Yay, mission accomplished! It's time to shop! After decreasing the number of notes in my wallet, we went back home for dinner and they slept throughout the journey! :)
A funny quote for today.
“Breasts are a scandal because they shatter the border between motherhood and sexuality.”
